2/5/2024 -- Eagle Bancorp, Inc. was named to Executive Alliance’s Honor Roll Award for Women’s Representation. This designation recognizes publicly-traded companies headquartered in Maryland and the private companies and non-profit organizations that employ women in at least 30% of their executive leadership roles AND have women in at least 30% of their board of director seats. Since 2007, Executive Alliance has analyzed the representation of women at the highest levels at leadership through its annual Census Report: Women Board Directors in Maryland. 

3/1/2024 -- Eagle Bancorp, Inc. ranked #9 in the Washington Business Journal's Women on Public Company Boards list by percentage of women directors.

3/22/2024 -- EagleBank ranked 17th place in the Washington Business Journal's Corporate Diversity Index for midsize companies with 100 - 999 total employees.   .

5/26/2023 -- EagleBank ranked 13th place in the Washington Business Journal's 2022 Corporate Diversity Index for midsize companies as a result of our strong policy on diversity and inclusion, as well as the Bank's outstanding employee culture.

6/2/2023 -- EagleBank ranked 6th place for giving ($) and 4th in giving time (donated volunteer hours) in the Washington Business Journal’s list of Top 2022 Corporate Philanthropists for DC area’s midsize companies.  We are grateful to deliver this financial support to our community and are very proud of our dedicated employees for their commitment to making a difference.

5/10/2022 --  Eagle Bancorp, Inc. was named to Executive Alliance’s 20/20 Honor Roll.  This designation recognizes publicly-traded companies headquartered in Maryland and the largest hospitals, non-profits and colleges and universities that employ women in at least 20% of their executive leadership roles AND have women in at least 20% of their board of director seats.  In 2022, only 27% of Maryland’s publicly traded companies have achieved this distinction.

11/12/2022 -- We ranked 5th place in the Washington Business Journal’s list of Top 2021 Corporate Philanthropists for DC area’s midsize companies for cash giving and 4th place for # of volunteer hours donated.

5/5/2021 -- Roshan Alavi, 1st SVP and EagleBank Residential Lending Manager, was the recipient of the MBA's Council of Professional Women in Banking and Finance 2021 Achievement Award.  This award honors a woman who has excelled both professionally in banking or finance in addition to contributing to her community.

6/8/2021 -- Ryan Riel, EVP, Chief Real Estate Lending Officer, was named a top Lender Influencer in the CRE Finance series by GlobeSt. Real Estate Forum.  Nominees were selected for their impact and contributions to the industry, the vast successes they’ve racked up in completing deals, and/or the innovations and best practices they’ve introduced to the business.

3/25/2020 -- Eagle Bancorp, Inc. ranked 16th place in S&P Global's Best-Performing US Community Banks of 2019 with $3B to $10B in assets.  Scores for this ranking were calculated based on six metrics: pretax return on average tangible common equity, net charge-offs as a percentage of average loans, efficiency ratio, adjusted Texas ratio, net interest margin and loan growth. 

5/1/2020 -- EagleBank ranked 6th place in the Independent Community Bankers of America's (ICBA) Best of the Best Performing Community Banks with assets over $1 billion.   

5/19/2020 -- EagleBank was awarded the 2019 Raymond James Community Bankers Cup ... the Bank has been an annual recipient since 2012.  This award recognizes the top 10 per cent of community banks across the country based on profitability, operational efficiency and other balance sheet metrics.

6/16/2020 -- Senior Executive Vice President & President of Commercial Banking Antonio ("Tony") Marquez was selected by the Commercial Observer as one of Washington D.C.'s 25 Most Powerful People Real Estate Players in 2019: "Who's got the right stuff when it comes to real estate in the nation's capital."  This is the Commercial Observer's 2nd Annual DC Real Estate Power List, and Tony has made this list in both 2018 & 2019.  To read more, click here.
