Foreign Exchange Products

Traveling outside the United States?  EagleBank customers can save time and money by ordering foreign currency and foreign currency travelers cheques at one of our branch locations.  

Foreign Currency Exchange
It is a good idea to have some cash on hand for immediate expenses such as a taxi ride from the airport, a meal, or for tips.  Our customers can avoid the hassle of exchanging funds upon arrival, since some airports and train stations do not have exchange offices, and those that do, could be closed when you arrive.
 
We offer over 25 foreign currencies.  Please contact one of our branch locations or our International Banking Department to inquire about specific currency availability and to make arrangements to purchase foreign currency. 

Foreign Currency Travelers Cheques (American Express®)
Foreign currency travelers cheques offer both security and savings.  They give you the same security as US dollar travelers cheques.  Backed by American Express, our foreign currency travelers cheques can be refunded by American Express — usually within 24 hours — if lost or stolen.

Foreign Wire Transfer Services
The fastest and safest way to transmit your money around the world, our wire transfer services makes one-time and repetitive overseas payments simple and efficient for our customers.  Outbound funds transfers can be executed to foreign beneficiaries worldwide.  Additionally, we can receive funds on your behalf and can accelerate collection of incoming payments.

Foreign Check Collection Services
For customers who receive payments in the form of checks drawn on foreign banks, we offer our Foreign Check Collection service.  We can convert many foreign currencies to U.S. dollars—helping facilitate prompt payment to you.
